At Stephens County High School, our philosophy is to provide all of our students with a quality education and to assist them to achieve to the maximum of their potential. We take great pride in addressing the individual needs of our students, and to this end, we implement programs that address the specific needs of our population. In fall 2004, we implemented a Freshman Academy, which operates on a six-period day; our tenth through twelfth grades follow a four-period, four-by-four block schedule.
We offer Pre AP and AP classes in all four academic areas. We are very fortunate to have an outstanding Career, Technical and Agriculture Educational Center. CTAE offers classes in automotives, business, construction, cosmotology, drafting, graphic arts, nursing, video editing and welding.
